The Reliability Standard CIP-014-2 requires Transmission Owners and Transmission Operators to identify and protect Transmission stations and Transmission substations, and their associated primary control centers, that if rendered inoperable or damaged as a result of a physical attack could result in widespread instability, uncontrolled separation, or cascading within an Interconnection.
In terms of information collection requirements, there are two main types of PRA activities: 1) Create or maintain documentation showing performance of a certain task; and 2) Develop a physical security plan.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
