29 CFR part 1915, subpart I requires employers to provide and ensure that each affected employee uses the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective shields, protective barriers, life-saving equipment, personal fall arrest systems, and positioning device systems that meets the applicable provisions of this subpart, whenever workers are exposed to hazards that require the use of PPE.

OSHA removed the requirement for employers to develop and maintain employee training records as specified by paragraph 1915.152(e). As a result of Standard Improvement Project Phase III rulemaking, the Agency requests a program change reduction of 2,776 hours.
