Short Statement: The new rule increases burden on several existing ICRs as a result of requirements in the MINER Act. These new information collection requirements contained the final rule for 30 CFR Parts 7 and 75 are necessary to ensure that miners are provided the enhanced occupational safety and health protection intended by the MINER Act.
