Abstract: The Rhode Island 15 month follow-up survey amendment that is part of the Hard-to-Employ Demonstration and Evaluation Project tests how a program aimed at reducing depression among Medicaid recipients may affect parenting and, in turn, children's well-being. The sample includes Medicaid recipient parents and their children, screened for depression in a two-stage screening process and otherwise determined to be eligible for the study.
