Abstract: LEAD POISONING IS A DEVASTATING ENVIRONMENTAL DISEASE AFFECTING YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE U.S. MANY STATES TEST YOUNG CHILDREN FOR ELEVATED BLOOD LEAD LEVELS. THIS REQUEST IS TO ASSIST STATE AND TERRITORIAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS TO IMPLEMENT CHILDHOOD BLOOD LEAD SURVEILLANCE.
