Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED's response to OMB comments of 5/4/93. In addition, DOL shall meet the following conditions: -- DOL shall implement electronic reporting options for this report as soon as possible. -- DOL shall add the appropriate cost caps to the instructions for lin 6-9 and 13 of the report. This will reduce the burden of respondents having to determine the costs caps by researching the statute. -- DOL shall delete any cost information for the summer program (Title IIB) that is available through other sources; DOL's response to OMB comments indicated that summer reporting will be addressed separately from this report. -- DOL shall not require lines 32 and 33 for the final quarterly repor which provides end-of-year totals, since the same data are available through the SPIR. DOL shall indicate this in the instructions. -- DOL has agreed to develop a collection of cost data at the SDA leve on an annual basis, which will permit analysis of program services and outcomes by SDA expenditures. DOL expects to begin collecting these data in June 1994. The agency shall submit a clearance package for OM review no later than February 1994, to leave sufficient time for actio under the PRA that will allow implementation of the SDA-level report.
