The recordkeeping requirement associated with the Work Application is approved through January 1987 to enable the Department to complete its ESARS activities. Since DOL no longer requires States to collect the information on the Work Application, OMB requests that DOL initiate rulemaking by September 1, 1986, to eliminate this recordkeeping requirement, found at 20 CFR 652.8(d)(5).
