Abstract: SECTION 4 OF THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT (CNA) OF 1966 (P.L. 89-642), AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZES THE SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM (SBP). THE REGULATIO SUBMITTED WITH THIS PROPOSAL SET FORTH: (A) POLICIES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SBP BY STATE AGENCIES AND FOR ITS OPERATION BY LOCAL SCHOOL AUTHORITIES, AND (B) REPORTING REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO RETAIN PROGRAM FUNDS AND INFORM USDA OF THE RESULTS OF PROGRAM OPERATIONS.
