Abstract: THE CHILD NUTRITION ACT OF 1966 AUTHORIZES THE SCHOOL BREAKFAST PROGRAM. THESE REGULATIONS ACT FORTH POLICY FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROGRAM BY STATES AND SCHOOL FOOD AUTHORITIES. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS ENABLE STATES & SCHOOL FOOD AUTHORITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAMS, & OBTAIN FEDERAL FUNDS FOR MEAL REIMBURSEMENT.
