Abstract: THE INFORMATION REQUIRED BY S2673.3 OF THE REGULATION IS NECESSARY BECAUSE, PURSUANT TO STATUTE, THE PBGC HAS DETERMINED THAT THE REPORTING REQIREMENT IS NEEDED TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF PLAN PARTICIPANTS AND TO PREVENT UNREASONABLE LOSS TO THE MULTIEMPLOYER INSURANCE SYSTEM.
