The goal of this generic information collection request is to enable CDC/NIOSH to support the development and evaluation of personal protective equipment (PPE) performance requirements and test methods as specified within federal regulations or voluntary consensus standards. CDC/NIOSH are routinely conducting human subjects data collection consistent across studies with only the boundary conditions changing. These data collection efforts seek to inform validation or revision of current performance standards and test methods and support the development of new standards or test methods. This is an Extension request.
