Through this primary data collection effort, FNS seeks to understand the interrelated factors that lead to household food insecurity. Data will be collected in six counties experiencing persistent poverty, which are particularly disadvantaged compared to other counties. In-depth interviews will be held with a selection of respondents and focus groups with community organizations.
This is a request for approval to add an invitation text message to the IDI outreach protocol. This change request will add 624 annual responses and 10 burden hours as a result of program changes. The new total annual responses requested is 131,225 and the new total burden requested is 7,802.
