NFDC Web Portal forms are used to collect aeronautical information, detailing the physical description and operational status of components of the National Airspace System (NAS). The information is distributed via the National Flight Data Digest (NFDD), a daily electronic (.pdf) publication available at no charge to the general public, government, military, and private producers of aeronautical publications. (https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/aero_data/NFDD/). The information is used to update government, military, and private aeronautical database, charts, publications, flight management systems, and in-flight tracking products. The information collected includes, but is not limited to, data regarding airport associated city, CTAF, UNICOM, facility use, runway lighting, airport sketches and diagrams, proposed aircraft call signs, and general remarks. Reporting of this information in mandatory, i.e. airport operators are required to submit any changes to their facilities that might appear on aeronautical charts or publications. This is considered to be reporting of information vs. record keeping or disclosure. Information is collected on a continual basis.

For the Aeronautical Data Change (ADC) form there is a slight decrease in burden from our previous ICR. This is due a decrease in our estimate of annual responses from 5,773 previously to 5,443 in this ICR. This results in a decrease in the total annual burden from 1,924 hours previously to 1,814 hours in this ICR.
For the Aeronautical Chart Change (ACC) form there is a slight increase in burden from our previous ICR. This is due to an increase in our estimate of annual responses from 936 previously to 977 in this ICR. This results in an increase in the total annual burden from 312 hours previously to 326 hours in this ICR.
The Call Sign form is a new form being developed. It did not appear in the previous ICR burden statement. We estimate a total burden of 30 hours.
