The regulations and forms cover the submission of information relating to the processing of claims for benefits under the Longshore Act and extensions.

Reduction in Burden for "Annual Number of Responses" decreased due to the Agency calculating incorrectly in the previous ICR. Two of the forms have 2 responses per 1 Respondent and the Agency was erroneously putting calculating using twice the number of respondents for that form (LS-204). Adjustment was made resulting in the reduction.
Annual time burden increased because the Program recalculated the number of LS-203 forms. Longshore has seen an uptick in LS-203 forms submitted since the previous ICR and that ICR was using 2019 data to estimate. The program updated this to 2022 data on estimate many LS-203 forms are submitted.
Annual cost burden increased for the same reason (increase in LS-203 forms) and due to the increase in NAWW which the Longshore program uses to estimate the cost burden. NAWW is increased every year.
