Short Statement: The Department is updating the number of respondents and burden estimates to reflect changes to annual reporting requirements. The Department is updating the estimated number of pooled employer plans formed, and their impact on the number of single employer filers estimated to join a pooled employer plan. Based on the most recent data concerning pooled plan provider registrations, the estimated number of pooled employer plans has increased for 2022, therefore reducing the total number of single filers, as some defined contribution plans are expected to join a pooled employer plan. This reduction in filers is reflected in a reduction in the number of respondents and the total hour burden.
