The Agricultural Trade Promotion Program is a cost-share program that is designed to reimburse nonprofit U.S. agricultural trade organizations, nonprofit state regional trade groups, U.S. agricultural cooperatives, and state agencies that conduct approved foreign market development activities and have suffered damages as a result of tariffs imposed on U.S. agricultural products in 2018/2019.

The initial information collection cost and burden hour calculations included the preparation and review of applications and used an estimated number of program participants. Because the program is no longer open to applications and the total number of program participants is now known, FAS has more precise information to make the calculations. This updated information collection request eliminates the burden estimates for the submission and review of the applications and reduces the total number of respondents from 71 to 63, resulting in a decrease âin burden hours from 63,978 to 55,029.â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬â¬
