This information collection provides the basis for issuing or denying a permit for the transportation of municipal or commercial waste in the coastal waters of the United States. Respondents are owners and operators of vessels. The statutory authority is the Shore Protection Act (Act) (33 U.S. Code 2601 et seq.).
