The 2017 WHIP establishes the requirements for eligible producers who suffered eligible crop, tree, bush, and vine losses resulting from 2017 hurricanes and wildfires as specified in Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018. The information collection is necessary for FSA to evaluate the application and other required paperwork for determining the producerâs eligibilities and assist in producerâs payment calculations.
The burden hours increase to 156,037 hours due to the merging the numbers from the 0560-0298 information collection request(ICR),OLA Program, with the 0560-0291 ICR, WHIP.
