Following approval of this request, OFCCP will execute the Government Accountability Office (GAO) 2016 "Equal Employment Opportunity: Strengthening Oversight Could Improve Federal Contractor Nondiscrimination Compliance" reportâs recommendation to collect and monitor Affirmative Action Programs from covered federal contractors and subcontractors on a regular basis. This will be done through a new online platform referred to as the Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI).

The increase in burden is the result of this being a new collection of information that utilizes an online portal for contractors to certify their AAP compliance and upload their AAPs when they are scheduled for a compliance evaluation.
