Abstract: In accordance with 19 CFR 122.27(c), a commander of a private aircraft arriving in the U.S. must present several documents to CBP officers for inspection. These documents include: 1) a pilot certificate/license; 2) a medical certificate; and 3) a certificate of registration. CBP officers use the information on these documents as part of the inspection process for private aircraft arriving from a foreign country. This presentation of information is authorized by 19 U.S.C. 1433, as amended by Pub. L. 99-570.
