This application is used by permanent residents or conditional residents, refugees or asylees, and aliens aboard seeking to apply for a travel document to lawfully reenter the United States or to be paroled for humanitarian purposes into the United States.
There is an increase in the estimated annual hour burden to respondents for this collection of information as a result of an increase in the estimated number of respondents and the increase in the estimated hour burden per response for biometrics collection from 1.17 hours to 3.67 hours.
The total estimated annual cost burden for this collection of information has increased as a result of a reevaluation of the estimated cost burden to respondents.
