Short Statement: There is an estimated decrease in the annual hour burden from 4,302 to 3,170; an estimated total decrease of 1,132. This is due to a decrease in the agency’s estimation of the number of respondents for the form. There is no change in the information being collected. There is a decrease in the estimated cost burden associated with this information collection due to the collection of more accurate data on the number of Form I-817 filings since the previous information collection. The privacy notice in the instructions was updated.
