This is a request for an approval of a substantive change for the ARMS II and Vegetable Chemical Use Surveys. Annually, NASS makes adjustments to the chemical use questionnaires to accommodate new or different research questions asked by our Cooperators. The Economic Research Service and the Office of Pest Management Policy have incorporated their new questions into the attached questionnaires. In addition we have included detailed lists of the changes. Included with this request are some changes to the Cropping Practices Survey, that is done under a cooperative agreement with Mississippi State University. Since only some of the questionnaires are being updated at this time, the expiration date is set at the original approval date.

Burden change is due to an adjustment in the average minutes it takes to complete the ARMS II and Vegetable Chemical Use surveys, based on actual data collected from the 2019 survey.
