FAS needs identical information from the Foreign Market Development (Cooperator) Program and Market Access Program (MAP) participants to manage, plan, evaluate, and account for the proper and judicious use of public funds. FAS has implemented an electronic process by which all FMD and MAP information is collected in an identical manner. Thus, FAS is submitting a single information package for the two programs to reduce the government burden.
