The Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) will conduct a three-year evaluation to develop strategies to support the evidence requirements for the Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program that were enacted as part of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-123; hereafter the “BBA”). As part of the RESEA Implementation study, this submission seeks clearance for three data collection activities: (1) key informant interviews during site visits with approximately 10 state workforce agencies and approximately 20 local workforce areas (i.e., two local workforce areas within each state); (2) telephone interviews with approximately 24 state workforce agencies; and (3) a web-based survey of all states and territories operating RESEA programs.
