This submission is to update the number of estimated respondents in the U.S. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card program (ABTC). The original estimate was made prior to the commencement of this program. Now that this program is active, there have been more respondents than anticipated so CBP is updating the estimated number of respondents for ABTC, plus the estimates for Global Entry and the Global Entry kiosks because the ABTC participants must submit information under these programs as well. This collection of information is for CBP's Trusted Traveler Programs including the Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI), which allows expedited entry at specified southwest land border ports of entry, and the Free and Secure Trade program (FAST), which provides expedited border processing for known, low-risk commercial drivers, and Global Entry which allows pre-approved, low-risk air travelers expedited processing upon arrival into the United States. CBP recently added the ABTC to this information collection. Those participating in ABTC must also be members of Global Entry,.
CBP adjusted the figures in items above to reflect estimates based on actual program application and membership data:
⢠The number of respondents for Sentri increased from 46,000 to 126,645. The related burden hours were also adjusted accordingly.
⢠The number of respondents for Fast decreased from 28,910 to 12,617. The related burden hours were also adjusted accordingly.
⢠The number of respondents for Global Entry increased from 635,593 to 1,414,434. The related burden hours were also adjusted accordingly.
⢠The number of respondents for ABTC increased from 5,628 to 14,215. The related burden hours were also adjusted accordingly.
⢠The number of respondents using kiosks increased from 2,226,828 to 9,750,212. The related burden hours were also adjusted accordingly.
There are no changes to the information being collected.
