APHIS is proposing to amend 7 CFR 319.56 to allow the importation of fresh avocado fruit from Ecuador into the Continental United States. The new rule will require 623 hours of burden from Ecuadoran growers, packers, and federal government. They include an operational workplan, several types of registration, marking, inspections, phytosanitary certificates, port notifications, and recordkeeping.
