Inspections of Agricultural and Vegetable seed are made at the request of the seed trade or the general public. The main purpose of the voluntary program is to document the quality of seed being marketed, especially seed being exported.
There is a decrease in the number of respondents due to the strong U.S. dollar and the weak U.S. farming economy. We expect the number of respondents applying for the service and the number of applications per respondent to make a gradual increase.
