Abstract: The major objectives of the survey --to be conducted in the stone/sand and gravel mining sector, the metal/nonmetal mining sector, and the coal mining sector --will be to utilize and complement existing data sources by collecting updated estimates and by filling existing data gaps to inform worker safety recommendations. The intended use of the data will be to: monitor changes and emerging trends and provide current data to guide research and training activities.
