Short Statement: NASS has completed the standardization of the vegetable surveys. The reduction to the number of responses and burden are due to two primary factors: changing our sampling methodology to allow operations with multiple crops to be sampled only once; and the discontinuation of several of the State funded surveys and the data to be collected through the standard US questionnaires. Some of the sample sizes were adjusted to allow for changes in the target population.
