Short Statement: There in an overall increase in burden hours (from 1,433,443 hours to 1,573,813, a total adjustment increase of 140,370 hours) resulting from adding burden hours and costs for information exchange between host employers and contractors, information exchanges between attendants and authorized entrants, communication with rescue services, annual review of the written permit space entry program and cancelled permits. This increase offset any reductions in burden hours and costs resulting from a decrease in the number of permit spaces and establishments.
