Abstract: Under U.S.C. 18 section 923(g) ATF requires a completed ATF F 5300.5 from person(s) involved in the transactions of firearms. ATF uses the information for law enforcement purposes to determine that the transaction is in accordance with laws and regulations, and establishes the person(s) involved in the transactions.
