The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) requests approval to make non-substantive changes to for the 2015 data collection to remain consistent with meaningful use regulations. The National Electronic Health Records Survey (NEHRS) was a supplement under the component of the ongoing National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS) from 2008-2013 (known as the Electronic Medical Records Supplement (OMB No. 0920-0234)). In 2014, we request and received this independent approval for the purpose of conducting survey activities.
