The FTC proposes to collect information about patent assertion entity organization, structure, economic relationships, and activity, including acquisition, assertion, litigation, and licensing practices.
The Federal Trade Commission proposes to collect information about the organization, structure, economic relationships, and activity of Patent Assertion Entities, including their acquisition, assertion, litigation, and licensing practices. The Commission will seek the information necessary to prepare this analysis through compulsory process under Section 6(b) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 46(b).
