Abstract: The Public Assistance Program assist State, Tribal and local governments and certain private Non-Profit entities with the responses to and recovery from disasters following a Presidentially declared major disasters and emergencies. The information collected is utilized by FEMA to make determinations for Public Assistance grants based on the information supplied by the respondents.

Short Statement: The increase in burden is due to FEMA Form 055-0-0-1, Request for Arbitration, and associated recommendations were added to the Information Collection Request. This new Dispute Resolution Pilot Program increased the number of responses by 20 and the associated burden hours by 60 hours.
