Abstract: NASS is submitting this non-substantive change request for testing the comparability of the farm labor categories used by NASS with the Dept. of Labor's Standard Occupational Codes (SOC). Prior to the operational labor survey that will be conducted in October, 2013. NASS would like to do a cognitive interview of 25 – 30 operators who responded to the April 2013 labor survey. Based on the information that is gathered during this phase of testing, NASS will develop a supplemental questionnaire to use in October 2013 during the live survey.
