Short Statement: Total estimated burden requested is slightly higher (by 12 hours or 0.2 percent) than that of approved for 2009 Supplement. The change is due to an increase in the proportion of households with low income-thus answering a larger number of questions and increasing the burden per respondent by 1.1 percent-largely offset by a decline in the CPS sample size of 0.9 percent.
