OSHA is requesting to decrease the burden hours of the information collection requirements in the Standards from 34,208 hours to 8,218 hours, a total difference of 25,990 burden hours. This reduction is based on a review by Agency staff which determined that the test certification requirement under 29 CFR 1910.137(c)(2)(xii) is a usual and customary practice for employers to have or stamp the test date on the electrical protective equipment. Therefore, this collection of information does not pose any burden on the employer.
