Abstract: Participants in the marine fishing industry, including vessel owners, vessel operators, and fish dealers, who wish to participate in regulated Northeast Regional fisheries must apply for, and obtain, permits. Persons obtaining permits may also be subject to notification, tagging, and other requirements. This request is for recordkeeping requirements to be added for one fishing vessel to fish in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organization (NAFO) Regulatory Area (NRA), pursuant to the High Seas Fishing Compliance Act (HSFCA), Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Convention Act of 1995, and Magnuson-Steven Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
