The purpose of this information collection is to ensure that employers maintain records of exposure and properly notify their employees so that workers are properly protected from the adverse effects associated with the occupational exposure to the following carcinogens: 4-Nitrobiphenyl, alpha-Naphthylamine, methyl chloromethyl ether, 3,3-Dichlorobenzidine (and its salts), bis-chloromethyl ether, beta-Naphthylamine, Benzidine, 4-Aminodiphenyl, Ethyleneimine, beta-Propiolactone, 2-Acetylaminofluorene, 4-Dimethylaminoazo-benzene, and N-Nitrosodimethylamine.

OSHA is requesting an adjustment decrease in burden hours from 1,598 hours to 1,472 hours, a total reduction of 126 hours. Although OSHA estimates that the number of establishments and exposed workers have increased based on an updated data source, the total burden hours have decreased as a result of a correction made to the burden hour time estimates.
