The Formulas Online (FONL) is TTB's new web-based system which will streamline the formula approval process and revolutionized the way in which formula applications are submitted. The FONL provides an alternative method in obtaining approval. Users of FONL are estimated to average 1.5 hours verses 2 hours for the paper submission. We anticipate 18 percent of the current respondents will utilize the FONL, thus reducing the burden by 360 hours due to program change; for a total burden requested of 7,640 hours.
