Abstract: Participants in the marine fishing industry, including vessel owners, vessel operators, and fish dealers, who wish to participate in regulated Northeast Regional fisheries must apply for, and obtain, permits. Persons obtaining permits may also be subject to notification, tagging, and other requirements. NMFS is requesting to have dealers include cell phones (if applicable) and email addresses on their permit applications, adding a maximum of 29 hours to cover set-up of email addresses for those who do not currently have them.
