Abstract: To develop a new national public service advertising campaing to educate the public about the importance of safe food handling and how to reduce the risks associated with foodborne illness.

Emergency Justfication: FSIS is partnering with the Ad Council to conduct a large Food Safety Education Campaign using public service announcements. The initial exploratory research needs to begin the first week of December to ensure that the campaign's timeframes are met.
