To meet OMB and Congressional reporting requirements, this request for a revised generic clearance will allow the DOS' PDEO to regularly conduct surveys of participants that participate in exchange and public diplomacy programs. Collecting this data will help PDEO assess and measure program effectiveness, as well as provide valuable feedback on the program from the participants' persepective. PDEO may administer surveys through paper or electronic questionnaires, personal interviews, and/or focus groups. The surveys will be generated by using the approved bank of questions.
