CDC proposes to conduct a nationally representative survey of medical facilities to collect information on the capacity to perform colorectal cancer screening. Similar census surveys of capacity will be conducted in selected states.

This is a request to reinstate a previously approved national survey, with changes. In additional, the request includes a proposal to conduct a series of state-specific surveys, which have also been previously approved by OMB. Although the number of respondents has been reduced to both the national and state surveys, there is an overall increase in burden due to their consolidation in a single information collection request (ICR).
