Short Statement: The burden hours increased due to CBP raising the estimated time to fill out Form 3299. The previous estimate had been 10 minutes, but upon further examination it was dertermined that most respondents spend more than 10 minutes completing this form. As a result, CBP is proposing to raise the time per resonse to 45 minutes.
