Abstract: In response to comments solicited by the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC” or “Commission”) as part of a systematic review of its rules and guides, the Commission proposes amendments to its Automotive Fuel Ratings, Certification and Posting Rule (“Fuel Rating Rule” or “Rule”) to adopt rating, certification, and labeling requirements for gasoline-ethanol mixtures having more than 10, and less than 70, percent ethanol.
