The collection identifies the country of origin and related rules which apply for purposes of duty-free or reduced-duty treatment on imported goods under the Andean Trade Preferences Act and the Andean Trade Promotion Drug Eradication Act.
The APTA Certificate of Origin time per response was number was adjusted from 6 minutes to 10 minutes; the total number of responses for the APTA Certificate of Origin was lowered from 48,000 to 4,266 as a result of better estimates by CBP; and
the new ATPDEA Form 449 was added to this information collection.
