The information collection and recordkeeping in this proposed rule would require that ruminant producers, maintain records that show the daily dry matter ingredients for organic ruminants.
The number of respondents reported in the proposed rule was 1,800. In the final rule, the number of respondents has changed to 2,300. This number changed because the number of respondents in the proposed rule was based upon the number of dairy producers only. This final rule however, pertains to all organic ruminant livestock operations, which include beef cattle, sheep, goats, etc.
