The Agency is requesting an adjustment increase of 5 burden hours from 293 to 298 hours. This increase is the result of an increasing job turnover rate from 10% to 27%, resulting in an increased number of employees that are: receiving initial medical examinations, being trained, and requesting access to records.
There is an overall adjustment increase in capital costs of $2,116 (from $19,312 to $21,428) resulting from an increase in the number of employees receiving medical examinations and, the cost of a medical examination increasing from $150 to $168. In addition, the total cost of exposure monitoring increased as a result of more employees being covered by the exposure monitoring provisions and an increase in the cost of a laboratory airborne sample analysis from $100 to $107.
